Multiple emergency service vehicles have been seen on Bridge Street, Aberystwyth

Emergency services have descended on a street in Aberystwyth tonight.

Three police cars and an ambulance have all been seen on Bridge Street, near Rummers Pub.

The police have sealed off the road to cars.

Police have shut off the road for vehicles, although pedestrians are still allowed to walk down there
Police have been on the street since at least 9:15 pm

A resident of Bridge Street, who asked to remain anonymous, told Ceredigion Online that she had seen emergency services reversing down the street.

An officer told her that they were waiting for someone to come down the street, but would not elaborate further.

Dyfed-Powys Police have been contacted for a comment.
