Three people have been arrested on suspicion of arson endangering life following a fire in Castle Street, Cardigan.
A 42-year-old male, a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, all from the Cardigan area, have been arrested following the fire.
Police were called to the scene at around 3.45am yesterday morning (16 June)
The fire service was already on the scene, and several properties were evacuated as a precaution.
Luckily, no-one was injured.
The area was cordoned off as forensic examinations were carried out.
“Very grateful for the patience”
Detective Inspector Richard Yelland said at the time: “We know that there are a number of people in the area at the time the fire started and I would appeal to them to get in touch.”
He added: “I am also very grateful for the patience of the local community while Castle Street is closed.”
